FedPoint Recognized by American Red Cross for Partnership and Support for Military Community
Portsmouth, NH (September 29, 2021)—FedPoint® was recently honored by the American Red Cross of Northern New England (NNE) for its steadfast support of the organization and its commitment to supporting the military community.
On September 9, FedPoint CEO Paul Forte was presented with a plaque by the American Red Cross of NNE's Regional Chief Executive Officer Stephanie Couturier in recognition of the organization's gratitude for FedPoint's continued support and partnership. In addition, American Red Cross NNE's Service to the Armed Forces Program Director Celeste Stimpson presented Forte with a challenge coin, which represents unity.
The presentation took place at the American Red Cross NNE headquarters in Concord. Also in attendance was Col. Hunt Kerrigan, USA (Ret.), FedPoint's military outreach advisor.
"FedPoint is proud to support—and grateful to be recognized by—the American Red Cross of Northern New England. Everyone knows that the Red Cross is among the pre-eminent humanitarian organizations of the world, and that their work—not just in war zones, but in disaster relief and blood management—is vital to our survival as a nation and as a people," said Forte.
Stimpson said, "We are so grateful for FedPoint's passion for our military and veterans. With their help, the Red Cross of Northern New England can continue its mission to serve our military, veterans, and their families during times of crisis and emergency."
Forte and Kerrigan both highlighted the vital role the Red Cross plays in supporting members of the military and their families through its Service to the Armed Forces program.
"The organization's efforts to support our U.S. military members, veterans, and their families undergoing crisis exemplify the difference that its employees and volunteers make in the lives of those in need," Forte said.
Kerrigan added, "For more than 100 years, the Red Cross has played a critical role in supporting the men and women of the U.S. military around the nation and overseas. I remember the Red Cross volunteers serving at Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan. They did all they could to support and encourage our warriors. They were deeply appreciated by all."
Couturier lauded FedPoint for its support of the Red Cross and military community.
"The Red Cross mission of serving our military, veterans, and their families in times of crisis and emergency aligns with FedPoint's commitment to making a difference in their community and supporting those who serve. We are grateful for the generous support and partnership we have with FedPoint," she said.
